Brokis was founded in 2006 to enliven and elevate Bohemian glassmaking to new heights while preserving generations of knowledge and craftsmanship. Janštejn Glassworks, acquired by Brokis founder Jan Rabell, had been producing handcrafted blown glass through traditional techniques since 1809.

Brokis stands for the synthesis of exquisite design, superior quality, and remarkable craftsmanship. Throughout the production process, each piece of glass is inspected by a master glassmaker to ensure the highest quality for each product.

At Brokis, refined materials such as wood and manually pressed metal are combined with handblown glass produced by Bohemian glass artisans, resulting in bold and decorative lighting compositions that push the boundaries of contemporary design.
